hi there, I’m with rbs with my mortgage, house is now on market as I’m unable to meet the required payments.
I was wondering if there’s anything I can do at this stage and where would I start please?

I am no expert but here are some suggestions:
– rent a room? It is tax free up to about £7500 in UK
I gather this whole Forged Signatures campaign takes into account existing or past mortgages. So if you unfortunately cannot keep your mortgaged home and it is repossessed, you can still be part of the Class action to reclaim what you’ve paid out.
As suggested for the Class Action, ask mortgage company for a list of all payments made on the mortgage ed since it started.
Contact Land Registry or country equivalent for information on when the Property was Registered.
Contact RBS for original mortgage agreement or copy of.
Ask RBS for all correspondence to do with mortgage
Ask Solicitor for copy of all mortgage correspondence.
I would try to fo this by email as it is evidence for example I telephoned my solicitor and RBS and they each keep telling me to phone the other for copy of original mortgage agreement. Now I need to email, to get them to say that in writing.
Have you uploaded to the link provided in an email evidence that shows a breach of of the rules as per Bernician video? You’ll get a private link where all your evidence is uploaded to a server where (unlike this section of signatures) it is not for public viewing. It’s just for those that are helping us to view our docs and let us know if they need more etc.

thank you so much for your advice and help. I’ve thought about renting a room out but I have ongoing health issues and fear the extra responsibility maybe too much for me to cope with.
I already have some of the info/documentation you mentioned and will look into gathering the rest soon and try to get things under way.
